Scott has worked internationally in the insurance and financial services sector for 30 years. Having founded Matrix in 2000, Scott has an established reputation for designing bespoke risk and finance solutions for leading global private equity funds, financial institutions and strategic investors.
ALAN POTTINGER
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Alan has worked with Matrix since the Company was first established; initially in a consulting capacity and, latterly as Chief Operating Officer.
He has extensive business experience gained in both the private and public sectors, most notably as Company Secretary & Head of Legal for a FTSE 250 multinational IT company for 20 years.
ALISON ROOME
DIRECTOR M&A
Alison is responsible for the day-to-day management of our M&A insurance due diligence team. A highly qualified insurance professional with more than 20 years experience, Alison is a specialist in strategic project management and programme analysis having joined Matrix from an international insurance broker where she led the delivery of responses to key client tenders and RFP’s for businesses with global operations.
ROBIN HOBBS
PROJECT DIRECTOR - CORPORATE INSURANCE
Robin heads up our corporate project team. He is an insurance and risk management specialist with experience gained in more than 30 years working on insurance projects for some of the world’s largest insurance brokers where he designed, co-ordinated and managed programmes for clients such as DHL, Reuters, SmithKline Beecham and DeLa Rue.

PAUL GREGORY
MANAGING DIRECTOR - ASSET FINANCE SOLUTIONS
Paul's focus is on broadening the application of Asset Finance to the many opportunities that exist from Matrix client and insurance sources. He has worked in the finance industry since 1985 and has considerable experience in both retail and corporate lending activities. Prior to joining Matrix, for the last 21 years, Paul has specialised in providing structure debt and structured leasing solutions using residual equipment values for Lombard/RBS Structured Asset Finance.

OPERATIONS & AUDIT MANAGER
Simon has held management positions in a diverse range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Information Technology, and International Security Solutions, gaining a wealth of experience which he applies in his role ensuring the efficient delivery of operational and audit functions within Matrix.
